Mexico City, Mexico 2011

Hogar Dulce Hogar is home to forty eight children ranging from six months to sixteen years old. Every child has a unique situation. Some are orphaned, others come from the streets, abusive homes, or are abandoned by their families. Hogar Dulce Hogar foundation was founded 25 years ago in order to provide a shelter, clothing, education, meals, medical attention and support to children in need.  Above are a few of my favorite images of the children who captured my heart.

“American Homes” assignment – Day 2 EAW

Ellenville, NY 2010

We were all supposed to shoot the same family for two days but I was unable to do continue shooting Shawnta and her family on the second day. So when I was dropped off in Ellenville on day two, I roamed around the small town and stumbled upon Carolyn and her family who was nice enough to let me hang out and photograph them.
