I was so happy when Hope texted me a couple of nights ago to let me know that she was back at the Roaring 20’s. I met her a couple of years back at the club and she was one of the first dancers to let me shoot her. I told her about my side project (portraits of the dancers at the club/home) and she quickly jumped on board. We had lots of trouble scheduling a time to shoot, then she quit, went to another club, and now she is back. Thanks to her wanting to participate in my project, I now have another diptych.
Below are 2 versions… the actual diptychs…they were too large for this blog so click to see them bigger…I’m leaning towards the first pair but I’m not 100%. I have to stare at this set of images for another 10 hours before I make a final decision.
